About Jonathan
Hey, welcome to my site. My name is Jonathan Luc (pronounced "Luke") Hostetler - that's me over there to the right. Well actually it's not me, it's my picture. But anyway...
Contrast is one word that could be used to describe me. I love to spend time with computers, and I also like being away from digital technology. I have a lot of fun persuading people and selling products and ideas, and I also like encouraging people that they are great just the way they are. I'm a fanatic about God and His Word, and... well okay, there's not contrast with that one! :) I enjoy the comforts and luxuries of life, and I also find it exciting to live with only the bare necessities. And the list goes on.
When it really comes to down to it, what drives me and inspires me most is the truth of God's Word (both written and spoken) and the personal guidance of the Holy Spirit in my life. I've been surrounded with God and His Word pretty much all my life, but it took my own desire to discover who He is and who I am because of Him, to bring me to where I am today. It is not my goal to be unusual or controversial, but as I stand fast to my belief in God and His Word, at times people perceive me to be unusual and controversial. I am who I am.
Really, I just love living on this earth, because God has given me hope for the future, and peace for the present. Heaven will be awesome, but we were made by God for more than heaven... these bodies in which we dwell were designed to thrive and prosper on this earth! :)

Now to change topics slightly... since we're on the web, let's talk about websites. I enjoy creating websites, and I especially like delving into some HTML, CSS, Javascript, and sometimes a little PHP. Here are some of my own websites...

Every slightest interest (well, most of them) that I have includes, in random order: website creation and coding, Apple hardware and software, the Hebrew language, Bible study, memory skills and memorization, human relations and effective communication, selling and persuading, playing the trumpet, playing the shofar, listening to bagpipes (when played well!), sending inspiring greeting cards by mail, traveling to unique locations, laughing, smiling, earning money, giving money and things, narrating Bible stories, watching and listening to motivational or inspirational and/or Biblical teachings, sharing my faith in God, inspiring others, clinical hypnosis, praying in tongues, listening to music that inspires me in the Lord, walking, biking, doing stunts on my BMX, lucid dreaming, getting sufficient sleep at night, talking on the phone, discovering new digital technologies, watching worthwhile movies, eating popcorn, recording video clips of myself, eating healthy food, learning about healthy foods and healthy activities, and more.
